Introduction to Tai Chi Therapy offers a gentle, therapeutic approach to movement designed to support balance, mobility, and overall well-being. Tai Chi is a movement-based therapy shown to provide a wide range of health benefits, including improved balance, reduced pain, better manage stress, increased range of motion, enhanced muscle strength, and cardiovascular support.
Each session introduces slow, comfortable movements that integrate mindful breathing, body awareness, and gentle stretching. The practice emphasizes safe weight transference, joint mobility, and focused attention, making it an accessible option for individuals seeking a supportive, clinically guided movement experience.

Who This Class Is ForThis class is available by UC Health provider referral only and is intended for individuals who may benefit from a therapeutic, beginner-level movement practice. No prior Tai Chi experience is required. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace, with guidance provided to support safety and comfort. Seated participants are welcome.
