The UC Cancer Center, in conjunction with the Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Cincinnati, in Cincinnati, Ohio seeks an experienced research director to lead and expand integrative and lifestyle medicine research at the Osher Center, with a focus on integrative oncology. This position will be the Carrie K. Hayden Endowed Chair of Integrative Oncology Research. The candidate will lead integrative oncology research design, protocols and funding to inform evidence-based practices of integrative therapies, such as acupuncture or mind-body therapies, and/or lifestyle approaches such as nutrition and exercise, for the prevention and treatment of cancer and throughout cancer survivorship. This individual will collaborate with the University of Cincinnati and UC Health leadership to enrich the strategic research direction at the Osher Center at UC and the Cancer Center.

The Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Cincinnati, housed within the Department of Family & Community Medicine, Division of Integrative Medicine, is searching for an experienced and energetic mid-level wellness program manager. With direct supervision from the Osher Center Director, the wellness program manager will lead and assist with the development, day-to-day management and program evaluation of community wellness programs for the Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Cincinnati. Candidate must have excellent organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to manage large programs, projects and interact comfortably with a variety of stakeholder audiences – including within the community.
This position will be responsible for program management, constituent communication, community outreach as well as some program data collection, entry, analyses and outcomes report writing. The position may also oversee related medical student wellness research projects and community volunteers. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, enjoy working with diverse teams, uphold a commitment to health equity, and be flexible and innovative. Excellent project management and interpersonal communication are critical.
