The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Department of Family & Community Medicine (UCDFCM), Division of Urban Underserved and Global Health is proud to offer a Global Health Fellowship for physicians interested in caring for underserved/vulnerable populations while developing their skills in advocacy and education. We are proud to offer one-year and two-year options, with tuition remission available to help two-year fellows obtain a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Global Health or a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Research.
This is a non-ACGME-accredited fellowship in which the Fellow is appointed as an entry-level faculty member in the University of Cincinnati Department of Family & Community Medicine. Given a part-time clinical schedule, fellows have the option to learn to provide forensic medical evaluations for individuals seeking asylum as a part of a medico-legal partnership with the Immigrant & Refugee Law Center, to pursue training in Point-of-Care Ultrasound or Tropical Medicine/Infectious Disease, or to pursue a Graduate Certificate or Master’s degree.
