Mentorship

In addition to your coach, we have multiple specific mentorship opportunities to meet your needs.

Your Academic Half Day learning community mentor serves as a longitudinal teacher and mentor during your PGY-1 year.

We will help you find career and research mentorship along the way.

And, if you join a Learning Pathway you will also receive dedicated mentorship for the duration of residency.

The Department of Medicine now has more than 300 faculty members, any one of which could serve as an excellent mentor.

You will develop meaningful relationships with these faculty members throughout your training to help you achieve your goals, while also meeting with the program director and associate program directors regularly to make sure you are on the right path.
