Department of Radiation Oncology

The Department of Radiation Oncology basic science research is currently focused on developing instrumentation that can document, in real time, the effects of radiation on various cancer cells (Dr. Ionascu's RadioOptiX Lab) as well as investigating radiation therapy's effect on neuroinflammation and it's overall impact on the central nervous system (D.
