Preparing Future Faculty Program

While there is no formal teaching requirement for graduate students in our department, there are ample opportunities to participate in the mentoring of undergraduates, summer students, new graduate students etc.

We do take an active role in preparing future faculty through our faculty mentoring/teaching assistantship programs, and graduate students have the opportunity to “student teach” a class and get hands-on experience.
