ERC students and 3 faculty went on a trip to visit River View Coal, LLC in Waverly, KY and the GE Appliances Park in Louisville, KY. At River View the group learned about the safety features and gear, then went on an underground tour and a surface tour of the mine, and spoke with leadership, clinicians, and staff to ask questions and learn more about worker safety.

The University of Cincinnati Cancer Center awarded 2025 Survivorship Pilot Project funding to Anthony Faiola, PhD, MFA, and Matia Solomon, PhD, to support innovative research on cancer-related cognitive impairment in brain and breast cancer survivors.
The symposium included ERC students and faculty from the University of Cincinnati, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Kentucky, University of Michigan, and University of Minnesota as well as some industry professionals and ERC advisory board members.
