Meet Your Student Wellness Committee

The mission of the Student Wellness Committee is to offer a system of academic, social, emotional, and psychological support to the students of UCCOM

The SWC takes a two-pronged approach to wellness:

  • Social/wellness activities meant for relaxation, stress-relief, and camaraderie among classmates
  • Advocacy for wellness issues within the curriculum

Honoring National Cancer Prevention Month

In recognition of National Cancer Prevention Month, the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center is advancing strategies to reduce cancer risk through prevention research, education and community engagement. From innovative screening approaches to community-based initiatives, these efforts aim to improve early detection and reduce cancer burden across our region.

Building the Pipeline: UC Awarded NIH T32 to Strengthen Basic and Translational Oncology Training

A new NIH T32 grant will support multidisciplinary training at the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center to prepare pre- and postdoctoral scholars to translate cancer discoveries from the lab to the clinic.

2026 Annual Student Research Findings Symposium

There were presentations consisting of workshop group projects, students presenting results from their Target Research Training Program (TRT) research, and students presenting their Pilot Research Project (PRP) plans.

CRTEC Trainee Exchange: Cross-center Learning Pipeline with University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center

The Office of CRTEC piloted the first trainee exchange with the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center giving trainees an opportunity to meet with experts and share their research findings.
