Meet Your Student Wellness Committee

The mission of the Student Wellness Committee is to offer a system of academic, social, emotional, and psychological support to the students of UCCOM

The SWC takes a two-pronged approach to wellness:

  • Social/wellness activities meant for relaxation, stress-relief, and camaraderie among classmates
  • Advocacy for wellness issues within the curriculum

Fall Pilot Grant Awardee Spotlight

The Cancer Center supports innovative research through the Fall Pilot Project Award Program, providing crucial funding to our faculty investigators. This past round, eight researchers received awards to advance bold ideas in cancer research, fostering collaboration, novel approaches, and future breakthroughs.

Our researchers are advancing innovative treatments like immunotherapy and exploring disparities in care to improve outcomes, while community programs focus on early detection and prevention efforts.

2024 NIOSH Nanotechnology Health and Safety Summit

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Nanotechnology Research Center (NTRC) hosted their 20th Anniversary Health and Safety Summit at the University of Cincinnati, Kettering Lab. The UC Education and Research Center was invited to sponsor this event and invite students and faculty to attend and present posters.
