The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the University of Cincinnati offers three residency positions for each academic year. Applications are accepted only through the Postdoctoral Application Support Service (PASS).
To be considered for the position, the applications have to be complete and the applicant must have taken the NBME Comprehensive Basic Sciences Exam and report a competitive score.
The NBME CBSE is open to all dental students interested in applying to oral and maxillofacial surgery residency programs. After completion of the examination, applicants will receive an electronic score report within one week from NBME. A copy of the score report will also be provided to the AAOMS. Applicants for the 2024 admission cycle who are appearing for the NBME CBSE exam in July 2023 must contact the program with their scores as soon as they become available to complete the application process.

The Division of OMS at the University of Cincinnati does not sponsor visas or consider foreign graduates without dental license in the US.
Upon receipt of a completed application, the most qualified applicants are invited for a personal interview.
