The pediatric otolaryngology team is one of the busiest surgical subspecialties at Cincinnati Children’s, with some 33,000 outpatient visits and 11,000 procedures each year. The team has performed more than 1,600 airway reconstructions. Our pediatric ear, nose and throat specialists also volunteer their time and services to improve the quality of life for children around the world.
The department’s investigators work at the forefront of innovative research and clinical trials, with more than $4 million in funded research. Our goal is to foster multidisciplinary relationships that advance science. Our faculty are committed to providing excellent training to residents and medical students.
As one of the country’s leading ENT residency training programs, we attract more than 300 applicants for four resident positions each year. Our pediatric otolaryngology fellowship is considered the premier fellowship in the United States. Our residents have early exposure to both otology and facial plastics. We also offer advanced training in three ENT specialties: neurotology, head and neck, and pediatric otolaryngology.
