Research
Faculty members in the Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology are conducting a number of studies that focus on improving health reproductive outcomes for girls and young women. Our team focuses on the impact that early exposures can have on long term reproductive outcomes and future fertility.
Specific research foci include:
Diagnosis and Evaluation of Ovarian Torsion, Evaluation of girls and adolescents with Menorrhagia, Hormone Replacement Therapy in Gonadal Insufficiency and Long Term Outcomes in Women with Anorectal Malformation, Fertility preservation.
The division continues to successfully fund research from outside Cincinnati Children’s from the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and industry grants. Our collaborative approach is evidenced by our many multidisciplinary projects with other divisions at Cincinnati Children’s, including Pediatric Surgery, Endocrinology, Oncology and Adolescent Medicine. We conduct meaningful research in addition to training future pediatric and adolescent gynecologic investigators through our nationally recognized fellowship program.Contact Us
