The Animal Behavioral Core, a facility within the Cincinnati Children’s Research Foundation Shared Services, offers behavioral phenotyping of rodent models for principal investigators (PIs) at Cincinnati Children’s and the University of Cincinnati. Through the use of a wide range of behavioral assays, we help PIs characterize the nervous system function/dysfunction in mouse and rat models of all types.
The Animal Behavioral Core is a collaborative partner with PIs interested in determining the functional phenotype of their experimental animal models. Our goal is to provide a convenient resource for in-depth characterization and analysis of their animal models, making them more effective research tools for future studies and grant applications
