Dr. Amanda Wasylishen, Assistant Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology, has been awarded an R01 grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases of the National Institutes of Health. The grant entitled “Histone chaperones and cell state regulation" aims to understand how cells and tissues normally respond to stress and the important downstream pathological consequences when this normal regulation is lost.
