Dr. Chenran Wang, Assistant Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology, has been awarded an R01 grant from the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health. The grant entitled “Roles of Glial Autophagy in Breast Cancer Brain Metastasis" aims to determine the molecular mechanisms of astrocytes in the initiation and progression of breast cancer brain metastasis.
