Smruti Deoghare, MS (LinkedIn) Smruti Deoghare is a PhD student in the Biomedical Informatics Graduate program at the University of Cincinnati (UC) and the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). She is a biologist by training and currently exploring the world of informatics. As part of her first year PhD lab rotations, she joined the iCDCU lab to gain research experience in clinical informatics. Her rotation project involved analyzing EHR handoff patterns of physicians in various simulated scenarios of patient case consultation, and using R shiny as a presentation and visualization tool to demonstrate interesting sequential patterns.

Aishwarya Nalluri, MS (LinkedIn) Aishwarya joined the iCDCU lab in June 2017 as a summer intern. She primarily worked on the Reading Comprehension project and developed pythonscripts to extract the language features in and score the readability of three datasets of health-related documents. Aishwarya received her master’s degree in Business Analytics in August 2017 and joined FedEx Services as a Senior Revenue Science Analyst.
