Congratulations to MSTP student, Andrea Toth, for her recent publication in Nature Communications in December 2023!  The article is titled, "Alveolar epithelial progenitor cells require Nkx2-1 to maintain progenitor-specific epigenomic state during lung homeostasis and regeneration."  It was the second major paper from Andrea's thesis, containing several years of meticulous work on optimizing adult lung organoid cultures during her time in the lab.  Andrea Toth recently completed her PhD in the Molecular and Developmental Biology Graduate Program within the lab of Dr. Will Zacharias, MD, PhD.
