The University of Cincinnati hosts the 39th annual meeting of the Ohio Physiological Society (OPS), October 10–11, 2025 on the UC medical campus. The OPS meeting is the foremost regional forum for research in physiology, systems biology, and pharmacology, and the translational research stemming from these disciplines. OPS provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students, graduate students, and other trainees to present their work at a vibrant regional meeting.

OPS2025 Program

OPS2025 anticipates 200 registrants from institutions around Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. There will be oral and poster presentations on topics such as cardiovascular physiology, muscle physiology, epithelial physiology, membrane transport, neuroscience, and comparative physiology.

The meeting begins Friday afternoon with the keynote address, followed by a reception and dinner. Saturday's full-day program features selected oral presentations, two poster sessions, and a student data blitz. The program ends with a brief business meeting and awards ceremony.

OPS2025 Awards

Students and postdoctoral fellows presenting their work will be eligible to compete for several research recognition awards.
