Research Activity

The University of Cincinnati is also innovating a way for hospital medicine to produce high quality clinical outcomes research. Our IMSTAR program enhances our department by providing a pathway to deliver training in Medical Education (leading to a MEd degree), Outcomes Research, or Basic/Translational Research (leading to a MSc degree). As a department we are also securing a research PhD to help break down barriers for hospitalists. This provides time and resources to follow their research and improves hospital care and performance.
