The UC College of Medicine Admissions Team is always looking for volunteers to serve as application screeners and interview raters. The perspectives of faculty, students, staff, alumni and community members in the selection process are highly valued. The insight and expertise of volunteer application screeners and interview raters is needed to craft future classes of physician leaders. No prior experience is needed. Training will be provided. If you are interested in participating, email MDadmissions@uc.edu.
The Office of Pathway Innovation & Inclusive Excellence strives to build a supportive and inclusive environment for all at the College of Medicine. The office interfaces with various departments of the college, the Greater Cincinnati community, and national offices committed to diversity in medical education. Please email Keisha Easley if you are interested in supporting the office and students through speaking at meetings or conferences, participating in events, or providing resources to support test prep materials and other student needs.
Connect with students in-person or virtually through speed networking events that facilitate career pathway and mentorship conversations. Email comalum@foundation.uc.edu for more information about upcoming speed networking events or mentorship opportunities.
Alumni Connection is your opportunity to help current medial students learn more about a particular specialty. While the students gain valuable knowledge of various specialties through rotations, your insight as an alumnus or alumna and practicing physician is a point of view rotations do not provide.
We are looking for alumni who are willing to allow current medical students to call, email or visit to discuss what life in your specialty is like. Alumni Connection is not a job search tool, but a way for medical students to get a better feel for a specialty.
If you are interested in allowing current medical students to contact you, contact us at comalum@foundation.uc.edu or 513-556-4344.
The College of Medicine Executive Council exists to further the interests of the UC College of Medicine alumni, the UC College of Medicine, and of the university itself.
