Fatigue & Recovery Yoga Practices (Virtual)

Therapeutic, gentle class for those in treatment and into survivorship along with caregivers. Benefits include relief from side effects such as fatigue, neuropathy, lymphedema, anxiety and depressive symptoms. Ends with a deep, relaxation practice that encourages healing and improves vitality.

Through regular participation, Yoga Therapy may support:

  • Managing common side effects of cancer treatment, such as: fatigue, nausea, cognitive changes, sleep disturbances, pain & neuropathy, anxiety & depression.
  • Improved strength, flexibility, posture, and balance
  • Stress management and relaxation
  • Enhanced concentration and mental clarity
  • Mind–body connection and self-regulation
  • A greater sense of ease and resilience in daily life

Instructor: Tina Walter, C-IAYT, Oncology Yoga Therapist, Certified Health Coach, experienced in working with individuals in treatment and survivorship. Instruction is trauma-informed, compassionate, and tailored to support each participant’s unique needs.

Who this class is for: Open to individuals currently in treatment and those in survivorship, along with caregivers, who are seeking a safe, supportive movement practice. No prior yoga experience is necessary, and modifications are always offered to support comfort and accessibility.

Cost: $5 per virtual class ($22 per 5-class pack discounts class to $4.40 per class)

Class Location: Virtual via Zoom (link emailed the day before class)

What You Need: You will need a computer, phone, or tablet with internet access to join the virtual class. A yoga mat or chair is recommended.
