Therapeutic Chair Yoga for Mobility & Balance (Virtual)

Therapeutic Chair Yoga for Mobility & Balance

Therapeutic Chair Yoga for Mobility & Balance is a supportive, adaptive class designed with chronic conditions and neurological health needs in mind—and open to all. This class offers a gentle, chair-based approach to movement that supports strength, balance, flexibility, and mental ease in a safe and accessible environment.

Each session includes guided, yoga-based movements, breath awareness, and opportunities for rest—all performed primarily while seated or with the support of a chair. The practice is intentionally paced and adaptable, helping participants improve posture, coordination, concentration, and relaxation while honoring individual comfort and ability.

Through regular participation, Therapeutic Chair Yoga for Mobility & Balance may support:

  • Improved strength, posture, flexibility, and balance
  • Enhanced focus and body awareness
  • Stress management and relaxation
  • Confidence and safety in everyday movement
  • Nervous system regulation and overall well-being
