Tai Chi for Balance & Mobility (Virtual)

This beginner-level Tai Chi class offers a supportive, gentle approach to movement that integrates slow, comfortable motions with breathing, mindfulness, and light stretching. The practice emphasizes body awareness, balance, and safe weight transference, making it an accessible and grounding way to support both physical and mental well-being.

Each session is thoughtfully paced and focuses on fluid, intentional movements that promote stability, circulation, and relaxation. Attention to posture and mindful transitions may help reduce the risk of falls while supporting confidence and ease in movement.

Through regular practice, Tai Chi may support:

  • Improved balance and coordination
  • Better managed stress and enhanced mental focus
  • Increased range of motion and muscle strength
  • Pain reduction and improved circulation
  • Cardiovascular health and breathing awareness

Led by Jennifer Woods, Certified Tai Chi Instructor, who brings a calm, supportive teaching style and a strong emphasis on safety, accessibility, and mindful movement.
