Gentle Yoga Therapy (In-Person)

Gentle Yoga Therapy offers a supportive, therapeutic space to reconnect with your body through mindful movement, breath, and rest. This class is designed to meet you where you are, providing a calm and compassionate environment that supports healing, resilience, and overall well-being.

Each session includes slow, intentional movements and breathing practices guided with care and adaptability. Emphasis is placed on safety, comfort, and choice, making the practice accessible and appropriate for individuals during treatment and into survivorship. Classes conclude with a deeply restorative relaxation practice to support nervous system regulation, healing, and renewed vitality.

Through regular participation, Gentle Yoga Therapy may support:

  • Relief from treatment-related side effects such as fatigue, neuropathy, and lymphedema
  • Reduced anxiety and depressive symptoms
  • Improved mobility, circulation, and body awareness
  • Stress management and nervous system regulation
  • Rest, relaxation, and a greater sense of ease in the body

Instructor: Tina Walter, C-IAYT, Oncology Yoga Therapist, Certified Health Coach, experienced in working with individuals in treatment and survivorship. Instruction is trauma-informed, compassionate, and tailored to support each participant’s unique needs.
