A foundation for effectively implementing job rotation will be provided along with a discussion of the common pitfalls. Recent results from a study will be discussed to show the practical application of job rotation schemes. An overview of the ergonomic assessments that are needed to provide an optimal evaluation of the risk associated with the job rotation scheme will be provided. The Center for Occupational and Environmental Health designates this activity for a maximum of 1.0 Contact Hour.
At the completion of this activity, the learner will be able to:
Explain the principles of effective job rotation
Discuss common pitfalls and weak points of job rotation
Identify how and when job rotation can be effectively implemented
