Reimagining Your Health Journey with Integrative Care on Friday, October 24, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST is the third annual symposium by the Osher Collaborative for Integrative Health, an international group of eleven academic health centers that study, teach, and practice integrative healthcare.
This free, one-day virtual symposium will explore how an integrative health approach can address the challenges of chronic health conditions and the growing complexity of today’s healthcare system and will feature Osher faculty including Barbara Walker, PhD, director of the Nature as Medicine program, on Nature as Medicine, and Betsey Zenk Nuseibeh, MM, MeD, MT-BC, music therapist, on music as medicine.
The program will cover the following four sessions:
Lifestyle (Movement, Nutrition, Sleep)
Mind-Body Medicine (Mindfulness, Yoga, Therapeutic Breathing/Hypnosis)
Connection & Environment (Narrative Medicine, Spirituality, Nature)
Professional Care (Acupuncture, Manual Therapy, Music Therapy)
