Conducting the most cutting-edge basic and clinical research to improve the outcomes for patients with a variety of cancers.
With a shared vision to turn the tide against cancer, the University of Cincinnati, UC Health, and Cincinnati Children's partnered to form the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center. As a unified cancer center, we are committed to delivering breakthrough research, compassionate care, and evidence-based training to achieve the best health outcomes in the region.
Research is conducted in labs at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s, throughout the community via community-researcher partnerships, and in the exam room through clinical trials. Unifying cancer research under the Cancer Center umbrella allows us to collectively focus our research on achieving high-impact discoveries that contribute to our national cancer effort.
As part of the region’s only academic health system, our providers see some of the rarest forms of cancer and have access to the latest technologies and treatments. Patient care is provided at the Cancer Center’s top-tier clinical partners – UC Health and Cincinnati Children’s.
No one wants to receive a cancer diagnosis. But if you do, we want to make Cincinnati the best place to be. We’ve invested in recruiting top researchers and physicians, offering the most cutting-edge technology, and expanding our physical space to make this vision a reality. We need your help.
