More than a dozen administrative professionals comprise the Cancer Center's administrative core, which provides the administrative infrastructure and support to move our cancer effort forward. If you need assistance in any of these areas, please contact the staff member listed below.
The administrative core is overseen by the Associate Director of Administration.
The research program team assists administrative coordination of the three Research Programs and overall membership. A team member can answer any questions regarding research program meeting information, cancer seminar series, and membership application and benefits.
COE focuses on reducing the burden of cancer in the catchment area by working in collaboration with Cancer Center members to ensure research is based on community needs and through public education and health policy recommendations.
The Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination team (CRTEC) collaborates with mentors and mentees across a broad continuum of educational stages. Members of our team support cancer-focused careers and multidisciplinary educational activities.
Data & Grants support multi-discipline grant projects, including pilots and external opportunities. The team also manages Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) compliant data tables consisting of member data, current cancer-relevant funding, catchment, and clinical trial data.
The Cancer Center offers numerous events and training opportunities to raise awareness, provide support to those impacted by cancer, and train current and future cancer researchers and care providers.
The communications team focuses on member communications and building internal and external awareness of cancer research. A member of the communications team can help with blog posts, articles, announcements, graphic design, videography/photography, and more.
Finance oversees accounting, policies and procedures for fiscal operations, human resources administration, shared resource consultation, and space management. Finance can help with business plans, ongoing fund stewardship, identifying resources needed, and other needs.
The Clinical Trials Office supports cancer-related clinical research studies for our adult patients. The office can help with regulatory submissions, trial patient management, protocol and budget development, data collection, sample collection and processing, and more
