One-hundred and sixty-five new physicians were celebrated at Cincinnati Music Hall, April 27 during the College of Medicine’s annual Honors Day. The college’s medical Class of 2024 were joined by faculty, family and friends to be hooded, receive honors and celebrate the end of medical school.
 
Six students received both medical and doctoral degrees through the college’s Medical Scientist Training Program. Among them were husband and wife graduates, Alison Perl, MD, PhD, and Eli Perl, MD, PhD (pictured), who were the last two to cross the stage after their hooding, which they did for each other before joyfully embracing on stage to loud applause.
