The Varsity Village Imaging Center offers a world-class facility housed inside the Varsity Village Garage on the campus of the University of Cincinnati (UC).

Advanced Technology

Our center features the 1.5 GE Artist MRI scanner, a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system that combines cutting-edge imaging technology with the comfort of a large bore (opening) system.

The accessibility of the MRI machine essentially allows UC doctors to take an image of an injury that occurs in the first quarter of a football game and have a diagnosis and outlook on the student-athlete by halftime.

The GE Artist scanner, which has an opening that is 70cm in diameter, allows for comfort for all patients and ease of use for those with larger physiques, especially student-athletes.  The scanner can accommodate patients up to a maxium weight of 500 pounds.

Central Location

Conveniently located in the heart of Varsity Village on UC's college campus, we are also just minutes away from many other medical facilities. The imaging center is located inside the Varsity Village Garage under the UC Tennis Center off Corry Street

Timely Appointments

We can quickly accommodate all patients, including local athletes who need immediate answers about their injuries. We’re open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but can also arrange times to meet your needs.
