Areas of Expertise

Members of the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology are either board certified or board eligible and actively seeking their certification.  A wide variety of experiences and expertise are represented by our faculty

Our office based skills include general obstetrics and gynecology from adolescence through menopause, as well as the areas of full obstetrical services (prenatal care, care during labor and the much anticipated delivery itself), Preventive care (immunizations, cancer screening, vaccinations, healthy life styles, etc), contraceptive services (counseling, placement of IUDs, subdermal implants, etc) and gynecologic services (menstrual abnormalities, screening for sexually transmitted infections, abnormal pap smears, urinary issues, etc.)

Our colleagues in the subspecialty areas of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Urogynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility are readily available to assist us in providing the ability to co-manage our more challenging cases.

Minimally invasive procedures (laparoscopic and robotic), vaginal, laparoscopic or robotic hysterectomies, endometrial ablation, open surgeries and hysteroscopic procedures are all available through our division.
