May 2026 – Newly minted neuroscience PhD, Dr. Emily Allgires (Sah lab, left in photo) reports in a first author paper in 'Journal of Neuroinflammation' that "A novel interoceptive subfornical organ to infralimbic cortex mechanism relays airway inflammation effects on fear extinction." Dr. Sah (right in photo), Dr. Andrew Winter (Sah lab alum), Liz Mancz (Sah lab P&P PhD student), Rebecca Ahlbrand (Sah lab), Dr. Wohleb, and Dr. Vollmer (Wohleb lab) also contributed.
