Congratulations to our very own Don Gilbert! Dr. Gilbert, the MSTP's Associate Director of Curriculum Development, was awarded the Clinical Care Achievement Award for exceptional contributions to patient care. He is a leading expert in pediatric movement disorders with many achievements during his time at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Dr. Gilbert built Cincinnati Children’s Movement Disorders Clinic into a globally-respected center and has expanded therapeutic options for movement disorders through deep brain stimulation. He has also helped to advance novel therapies for Tourette syndrome through clinical trials, and currently is the principal investigator for an innovative gene therapy trial for aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase deficiency. His hard work and dedication to clinical excellence and patient care has transformed many lives.
