Defining and targeting L1CAM-driven metastasis progenitor cells in lung adenocarcinoma

Jin Suk Park is a Senior Research Scientist in the lab of Dr. Joan Massagué at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he uncovered a molecular regulatory mechanism that generates metastasis progenitor cells in lung adenocarcinoma and established its therapeutic potential using preclinical antibody-drug conjugates. Before his postdoctoral training, Jinsuk earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto and completed his Ph.D. in Cancer Biology under the mentorship of Dr. Gaudenz Danuser at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
