Director's Welcome

Welcome to the site of the UC Division of Community Women’s Health.

The division combines general obstetrics and gynecology and the specialized care for underserved women. The care of underserved women is an area of focus all its own and involves knowledge of the social determinants of health inequity and systematic approach to improving outcomes.

We are excited about the uniqueness of our division and strive to improve the health outcomes for the population we care for through direct patient care, community collaboration, education of medical students and residents, and population based research.

I also serve as the director of Maternal and Infant Health for the Cincinnati Health Department, medical director of University Hospital Women’s Community Services and medical advisor for Health Care Access Now, Inc.
