The Annual Students Research Findings Symposium was held on January 15^th, 2019. There were seven presentations consisting of workshop group projects as well as four students presenting results from their Target Research Training Program (TRT) research. ERC faculty and students were present to evaluate the presentations, give constructive feedback by asking questions, and provide an audience for students to practice presenting their work.

Three workshop student groups presented on:

• Electronic Cigarettes: Exposure to Secondhand Vapors; Yao Addor, Nicole Harris, Nell Wickstrom, Nicholas Grisso
• Occupational Hazards Encountered by Home Hospice and Home Pediatric Workers; Mackenzie Barnwell, Darris Bohman, Jonathan Collins
• Low Wage Earners: Construction Worker Safety; Ashley Turner, Vianessa Ng, Sarah Issler

Four TRT students presented on:

• Observation Tool for Home Healthcare Workers; Elizabeth Bien
• Violence in Healthcare; Tamara Small
• Exposure to Cleaning Product Chemicals During Residential Cleaning Tasks; Mike Benjamin
• Estimating Safety Limits for Exposure to Active Drugs During Home Healthcare Work; Evan Frank

After the presentations concluded the group adjourned to the atrium for a reception and to further discuss research projects within the ERC.

This symposium showcased the work of workshop and TRT students to provide an opportunity to practice presentation skills and gain valuable feedback from audience members on their current projects.
