DESCRIPTION:Course Information:This NIOSH-approved spirometry training cour
 se (approval #010) deals with all aspects of spirometry testing. One speci
 al aspect of this course is the high quality of individual instruction con
 sisting of three (3) days. All lectures are given by Dr. Roy McKay\, who h
 as taught this course for nearly three (3) decades. This course uses a com
 bination of lectures and hands-on practice to learn spirometry testing. Te
 chnique and problem solving sessions will be conducted using small groups 
 with no more than five (5) students per instructor. Because a small class 
 size is important to ensure proper training of the student\, the class siz
 e is limited.Our three day program is designed for individuals who desire 
 more information than a 2 day program. The additional day allows more time
  using the spirometer to improve the student's testing technique. The thir
 d day also gives the student an additional evening to prepare for the fina
 l exam. A certificate is awarded to all students who successfully pass the
